I have started working on my puzzle game. I have decided to go with a sliding puzzle game,I will be referencing a tutorial and I hope to see if it works out.
I am using my own image, particularly that of a drawing I did over the summer. I had to adjust the screen size so that my game compliments the image.
Before I Imported my image, I took it to photoshop so I could divide it into 4x4 grids. Afterwards I exported each grid as its own image. Unfortunately running photoshop on my computer is unusually slow, so that was a bit frustrating and time consuming.

Each tile was its own sprite 2D nose, so in total I had 16 nodes.
I am running my puzzle game and it is playable, and quite tricky, so that’s good.
I have gotten the core mechanics down with my images set up. The base game is playable, now I am onto polishing it up.
I have added a start menu for the game, which was relatively quick. I have also added some background music for the gameplay, really just to show some level of quality. The game will be enjoyed.
